Makda’s Story
Makda’s story begins long before she knew the word “design.” As a child, she rearranged furniture while her parents were away on vacation transforming the family room with a handmade rug that had been stored away, reimagining the entire layout. When her parents returned, their first question was: “Who did this, and how much do we owe?”
That moment became the seed of everything that followed. Over more than a decade, Makda has channeled that instinct the one that sees a room not for what it is, but for what it could be into a full-service design practice that helps clients fall in love with their homes again.
Experience and Skills
Makda DelCupp brings over 10 years of interior design and home renovation experience to every project. Her approach is rooted in a simple belief: exceptional design doesn’t require an unlimited budget. It requires knowing where to invest, where to save, and how to create something that feels genuinely personal.
She is known for her attention to detail, her calm and collaborative process, and her ability to balance beautiful aesthetics with the practicalities of real life. Clients describe her as professional, approachable, and easy to work with and they leave the process excited about their space.
With more than 17 years of banking and real estate experience, Makda provides clients with expertise that goes beyond the traditional real estate transaction. As a former Mortgage Loan Originator, she has extensive knowledge of mortgage financing, lending solutions, and financial planning.
Beyond her extensive banking experience, Makda is also a seasoned real estate investor who has successfully completed more than a dozen home renovations. Her firsthand experience buying, renovating, and selling properties gives her a unique perspective on maximizing a home’s value. Whether clients are preparing their home for the market, considering strategic improvements, or exploring financing options such as a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC), Makda provides expert guidance and practical solutions to help them make confident, informed decisions.
